One dress, 3 occasions

Slow fashion is about so much more than shopping second hand or buying from sustainable fashion brands. For me it's always been first and formost about loving and wearing what you have. So today I decided to take a classic black slipdress that I bought for my sister's wedding about three years ago from a non-sustainable brand and style it in 3 different ways, for 3 different occasions.

First up? Coffee (or tea ;)) with a friend. Now I don't know about you, but I mainly love dressing up for myself OR for friends of whom I know they will appreciate my original sartorial choices. I don't know many men who would understand the point of wearing jeans underneath a skirt, so there you go. I layered a knit underneath the dress for added warmth and interesting texture. The blazer topped of the look with its cute checkered print.

Up next is my cocktail party (or any party really) look. Tie your leopard blouse in a front knot, add some sassy pumps and you're good to go! To go outside, I'd probably just throw over my long leather jacket and a scarf.

Last up is dinner with the in-laws. For some reason I'm always at loss about what to wear to fancier dinner parties or receptions. Pulling together a slightly dressy look that still feels like me is just hard! But I think I cracked the code with this outfit: Just take one fancy dress, add a fluffy knit for comfort, a printed blazer for extra style and fancy boots to match the occasion.

What do you say? Works pretty well, right?!
